So do I. "Rude people and flamewars." Spam as a user-visible problem as
gone down quite a bit in the past year or so, and is basically nonexistent
at sites that filter except in certain hard-hit newsgroups. (Mostly sex
and binaries-related, also in some of the business-related newsgroups, but
there are widely-read moderated alternatives for a lot of those groups
now.)
I see maybe one piece of spam in newsgroups I read per two or three weeks.
It's well below the noise threshold.
