Or else they just feel, that they don't have any say in the matter,
because they don't have any "say" in this, as they are not very
competent in these areas, but competent enough to know what this is
about, and feel that they have enough interest in USENET to follow it,
but don't feel that their vote should make the difference in something
that is eventually - very eventually - going to become a RFC.

I guess it would be interesting to know:

Would it be "acceptable" for someone like me - a lurker, that doesn't
post very much, but loves to lurk, to cast a vote? I'm not a very eager
participator, as the points are made for me, before I get down to the
weekly point on my list, saying "READ USEFOR LIST", but I'm very
interested in the points that are made.

An interesting thing for me would be the addition of a header, so that
everyone can se from where a post is made, even if it is made from a
CACHE-server. If that is included as a MUST, it would be possible to
instant-UDP ie. the server on wannadooooooooooooooo.fr that is causing
problems at the moment, because it interfers with USENET standards.
