Actually, on further thought, you don't necessarily need a new NNTP
feature. If your POST command is rejected, you can always use the LIST
ARCHIVE command on the affected newsgroup(s) to find out why (and LIST
ACTIVE is supposed to be especially efficient on 'single group' requests
:-) ).

I think we need to hear mor opinions from the List. Currently, only 3
people are participating in this debate.
