Utf-8 in newsgroups names it's not alone.
Well, after testing I've seen Netscape doesn't do it, so News Threading
Explorator is alone to do that :-) (without special command/downloading
latest version as with GNUS).

Yes, it is. I have also interesting Nntp filter http://www.trzcionk.priv.pl/programy/enu/ppfn.html to help users of old newsreaders to read Mime messages and improve presentation text/plain messages in MsOe.
I remember seeing somewhere that the developper of xnews is looking for
someone to help him integrate i18n.
It seems he doesn't know how to display non standard charsets in Delphi.
So if you can at least give him some informations about that.
I can't imagine this. Last time when I was interested in collaboration XNews with my Nntp filter I pleased Luu to remove conversion of national characters to question marks. He couldn't find this code.
