Hey Chris... I'm glad to hear:

Well, 'not terribly difficult' isn't quite the case. In the proposal
recently advanced, the moderated submissions will be in an
text/news-submission MIME section, and so the 'reformat' will have to
involve MIME parsing EACH message, extracting the section with the news
article, putting just that section into a new archive [If you're going to
use mbox format for the "news" version of the archive, then youre
reformating will also have to catch "From " lines and put that STOOOPID
">" at the front of it [I can't *believe* that that crockery has
persisted for something like 25 years now....]]. [will the rules for
encapsulated usenet submissions include explicit MUSTs for such
submissions [e.g., only *ONE* submission in any such message, and the
message will ALWAYS contain _exactly_one_ MIME section consisting of the
submission; or will it really require full-blown [and probably recursive,
if there's a text/rfc822 MIME section?] extraction software]

I agree it is not a BIG deal [probably 30 lines of Perl if you have the
right libraries installed]. But it also ain't a "one liner"..:o)

Great news! It has never been quite clear to me whether using Agent to
moderate is a sideline or an important application for Forte [for
example, 1.91 broke Message-ID handling... I got a bug/enhancement
report filed on it and I'll be anxious to see if they fixed it in
1.92...]
