And which software does so *legally* today?
I know that Pine will transform newsgroup names to RFC2047 and I know
that Outlook Express will under some conditions too.
But anyone with the slightest understanding of News, realizes that
changing the Newsgroups line in anyway, is an absolutely wrong thing
to do. The software could possibly object and say that the newsgroup
name violates the standard. But transforming the newsgroup name is
brokenness and nothing else.
