  Arrgh! We have spent years trying to get people to send technical stuff
to usenet@ or news@ and complaints to abuse@ and you want to create a new
standard address? Why? Expecting complainers to learn a bunch of
addresses is optimistic at best, and don't even trot out the old "the
software can do it" line, unless you can show me that there is such a
feature in widely used software. People aren't going to upgrade or change
software to please us!

  There is a "current practice" of abuse@ which works very well (my
canned whine software gets few bounces these days). If a site wants to
set that in the injector, that's a site option.

  We shouldn't standardize things which (a) don't affect
interoperability, and (b) are contrary to current practice.
