Absolutely. If my ISP started inserting a header with my real address
on it, I'd switch to a differnt ISP. Others will ensure that their
"real" address is nondeliverable, which will break the intent of the
header. If an ISP is going to automatically insert identifying
information, it should do so in a form that is not conducive to
harvesting, e.g., a token that it can map back to the identity but
that cannot be easily mapped back by an outsider.
Note that I am not talking about anonimity, just a mechanism by which
looking up the address requires a manual request to the ISP.
