I'm running 5.04.25 which is the latest version, as Luu appears to have
more or less abandoned developmetn of Xnews. (But you never know with Luu.)
For an example of this bug, see <3D259874.3010405@hotmail.com>, the
subject line is:
Subject: Re: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Gl=F6mde?= det =?ISO-8859-1?Q?b=E4sta?= med
Roskilde!!
which displays as:
Subject: Re: Glömde det =?ISO-8859-1?Q?b=E4sta?= med Roskilde!!
Overall, it would be wrong to say that Xnews supports RFC2047. It does
some rudimentary search/replace, but it will not display text in the
specified character set, if it's another than Latin-1. In fact, I
spotted this subject line:
Subject: =?ISO-8859-15?Q?K=F6pes=3A?= DONJ-bok
and this is how it was displayed. That is, in this case Xnews didn't even
try.
