Yes, every list I have been on has had this battle. I much prefer Reply-To
to be set to the list, and on the ukcrypto list they had a vote where that
option won by a fairly small majority. You can't please everybody :-( .

Actually, it doesn't affect me, as I gate this list to a local newsgroup
and then do a followup rather than a reply. My sys file knows tp mail it
to the list (only). I can easily generate a personal reply when I need to,
which isn't often.
