It doesn't. But introducing a Reply-To has been considered by most
learned people for a *long* time as bad.
One need only read "Reply-To Considered Harmful" to see this, and
realize in all the time since it was published nobody at all has put
forth any coherent arguments to counter it. Yes, it's also well
understood that the way "group" replies are done in email now is broken,
but it's also long understood that introducing further breakage by
inserting a Reply-To just makes things worse (while sometimes not
solving the initial problem anyway).
