I strongly disagree since the current situation encurrage the admins of the
news servers to discards perfecly legal messages without even taking action
to inform the poster. This is a very bad choice, and could be discurraged.
With your proposal you are pushing this wrecked view of "what should be
done".

I'm not talking for or against localizing the Re: prefix, but against the
solution and the fact that this proposed solution has been taken as a card
de blac for discarding messages not applying to this view.

To be honest, the solution you suggest is not friendly to the "histrory"
nor to the state of the "standards" and it certainly doesn't apply to the
general attitude in the IETF of being open and friendly to "others".
