Having previously withdrawn from active participation in USEFOR due to a
belief that it was not functioning, I would support this even though I
happen to disagree (apparently) with Dan on the issue he used as an
example.
There appears to be a very large gap in the expectations of USEFOR
participants as to what the goal of the WG is; suggesting to me that the
charter (and it's enforcement) is badly specified and not functioning.
"Consensus" these days appears to be more the result of attrition and
resignation then reasoned debate or facts.
Specifically, the charter is far too "fuzzy"; it doesn't outline exactly
what documents are expected as deliverables, their topics, or the criteria
for inclusion in each document (nevermind the schedule for deliverables).
I would very much like to see USEFOR Rechartered and this issue addressed.
