I'm just about convinced that what Lilly would like is a document that says
"See RFC 2822. The End." Which makes arguing with him rather pointless.

If we aren't to be more permissive than mail, and we aren't to be more
restrictive than mail, what's left?

For the record -- given even *1* news program that assumes the space (let
alone one with the importance of INN), for whatever purpose, I see no reason
not to continue to be more restrictive in this matter.
