Hmmm... My apologies, I think you're correct. C News maintenance didn't
stop in an organized way, it just sort of petered out. I didn't see this
change in any of the patches so I assumed it had gone in with the original
CR... but in fact I think it was at "the other end", a late change to my
working copy that didn't make it out. (As I noted earlier, we weren't
very systematic about archiving releases.)
