Yes, that's better. Encode the word "cmsg" if the next word
isn't encoded, encode "cmsg " incl. space otherwise, and make
sure that you understand MIME header folding in the presence
of encoded words.

Another solution would be "mail2news gateways SHOULD NOT modify
or act upon the content of Subject headers in any way, and they
MUST handle message/news subjects as message/rfc822 subjects."

Where message/news subject == obs-subject == RfC 1036 subject,
and message/rfc822 subject == new-subject == RfC 2822 subject.
