Then there's yet another flaw in our draft, because that draft
does not permit users to override what agents to with References
during a follow-up. If you want to pursue that line, go ahead.
But I don't believe that users should be allowed to edit
References -- the average user has no clue how to maintain
correct syntax or semantics.

It might be possible to identify some cases where agents could
provide for cleaner preparation of some types of messages,
including handling References, e.g. a single response to
multiple messages. But that's a different matter.
