No. I found the odd "TLD invalid" invention in a draft, and
that inspired me to check what the hell this WG is planning.
That was near the last-last-last usefor-07 WGLC in 2002, and
after a few articles and Ralph's "no consensus" poll I forgot
about it, expecting that it will be ready soon (minus UTF-8).
Later I sometimes looked, but for some time I refrained from
getting involved into the debates about "Re:" and references,
or the "OUGHT-ification" phase.
In May 2004 that changed, one ASRG Chair resigned, Caller-ID
was added to the MARID agenda, and I wrote my first mail to
anything@ietf, in that case ietf-ipr@ietf, in only three days.
It convinced me that something is decisively rotten with the
standards process, and that waiting for good RFCs is no plan.
Back in 2002 there was no "Injection-Date", trying GMaNe's
search I found it, apparently you invented this 2004-02-01:
