Based on the discussions from last night's !43 "bar" BOF
(I use "bar" loosely), an email list has been setup
for discussions on proposals and protocols that relate
to use cases of whois but that are not whois.

Our rough consensus was to first talk about requirements
of such a protocol, be it a new one or the adoption of
existing technology, before determining the types of
technology to use.
