Eric did not suggest trying to educate those folks.


He noted that we have a ready market for our work and that that market is clearly not going to satisfy their requirement on their own.

convincing folk of the difficulty and inadvisability of their political
ambitions is usually futile and extremely frustrating.  sometimes, it is
best to let them learn what they can from experience.  this could be one
of those times.
