Re: Regarding whois query in xml format



nowhere is it required to provide xml in response to whois.
yes the address registries all have their own format.
There's nothing to specify the syntax of the response to a WHOIS
request. 

A whatever-to-xml translator is interesting idea.
I hope one day to get back to my work on Perl WHOIS modules.
I have No time ( due to no funding) now.
