IBM and Lotus built Jonah to provide a reference implementation to help drive
the PKIX standards, offer a reference implementation which others could use to
test PKIX interoperability, or imbed into their own product offerings to help
drive interoperable PKI.

IBM and Lotus have continued working on the Jonah code for our own use by
various divisions of IBM, and have made numerous enhancements to the Jonah code.
Most of these will not be made available freely on the MIT web site, but we are
willing to discuss OEM arrangements with companies.

Enhancements include use of KeyWorks (IBM's commercial version of CDSA which
provides key Recovery, performance enhancements, debug code, etc), support of
AIX platform, RA and CA running in the background, CA hierarchies and cross
certification, developers documentation, installation programs, expanded key
store, etc.

     Hello,

     I have suuccefully built and installed the Certificate Authority,
     Registration Authority and End Entity on a single computer .
     I have also integrated all Jonah in VC++ environment.

     I want now to test and try the fonctions of the Jonah components (CA,
     RA, EE), but it's not clear to me how they operate and how they follow
     on from each other so I have some questions :

     1)- IS it natural that there's nothing that appears when I call up the
     help screens from the CA ,RA or EE interface

     2)- IS there any Guide Users or any process to follow explaining the
     Jonah Features ?

     3)- Is there any documentation of the Jonah Architecture and others
     docs ?

     4)- Is thers an LDAP server configurated with the jonah freeware
     Implemtation R3, or we must install it ?
