John,
 We do not need a C API.  All of our work is currently done in C++.  

I am more interested in your working on cross platform support for 
Macintosh, AIX, and Digital Unix.

Though, we are interested in Java; we do not currently have any projects 
in development using Java, nor are any Java projects scheduled.
