Starting the S/MIME Developers list
Greetings. As stated in the mail you got when you subscribed, the purpose
of this list is to help S/MIME developers. It is *not* for discussing
changes to the S/MIME specs; that should be done on the ietf-smime mailing
list.
As a reminder, all S/MIME developers *should* be participating on the
ietf-smime-examples mailing list. Unfortunately, most aren't. The S/MIME
examples draft could be one of the best methods we have of getting future
developers to write their code correctly the first time. Please get on the
list, look at the draft, and start checking the examples there.
The HTML archive of this list *should* handle attachments well, but we
won't know until people start sending interesting attachments. Please let
me know if you find problems in the archive.
This list has a web site: <http://www.imc.org/imc-smime-dev/>. Let me know
what you want on the web site.
