Welcome to the new vCalendar mailing list!

Greetings. As you all know, the Internet Mail Consortium (IMC) has taken
over the vCard and vCalendar technologies from Versit. One of our tasks is
to maintain the vCard and vCalendar mailing lists.

The vCalendar mailing list is now "imc-vcalendar@xxxxxxx". If you had just
subscribed (instead of being moved over from the old list), you would have
received a message like the following:
====================
The imc-vcalendar mailing list is the central place for the discussion of
the vCalendar technology. It is primarily for developers of products that
include vCalendar. As the vCalendar list evolves, this list will include
discussion of how to transition from the current version of vCalendar to
the new version.

To see what has gone on before you subscribed, please see the mailing
list archive at
  http://www.imc.org/imc-vcalendar/

To unsubscribe from the imc-vcalendar mailing list, send a message to:
  imc-vcalendar-request@xxxxxxx
with the message:
  unsubscribe

If you need to contact a human about this mailing list, please
send a message to:
  phoffman@xxxxxxx

IMC is in the process of transferring the Versit PDI Web pages to the IMC
site, so the Web page for this mailing list is still somewhat barren. That
should change in the next few days.

If you have any questions about the mailing list, please feel free to
contact me.
