Thanks, it is probably sufficient for the mean time. It doesn't indicate that the two numbers are tied to the one device.

Some uses determined for multiple numbers are to separate personal and work life , and/or , high and low priority customers/clients, and/or , company one and company two. The need/desire to have all these appearing in one vCard may then be questionable which brings me to a wider issue - multiple identity vCards, ie to solve my needs it may be better to store and provide a personal vCard and a work vCard, or a multi-language vCard (or more generally a hierarchical vCard).

I guess whenever someone finds a need and use for a vExpense and a vToDoList object then this could all get a little out of hand.
