The Internet Society is the premier organization for the Internet. Its
focuses include bringing the Internet to everyone, helping the Internet
progress both culturally and technically, and making sure that no one
country or company has undue influence on the Internet's evolution.
ISOC is also the parent organization for the IETF. ISOC has both
individual and corporate memberships. If you or your company has profited
from the Internet, you should consider joining ISOC.

Unicode Consortium

The Unicode Consortium is the leading industry group for standardizing
international characters. It has created the Unicode Standard, a character
set that is used in many Internet mail clients. IMC is working with
the Unicode Consortium to make sure that future versions of the Unicode
Standard work well with Internet mail.
