    I agree that this is what I personally want, but I'm not sure if
this will become the explicit desire of the average Internet user, if
only becuase I sincerely doubt that they'll ever understand the issue
to this degree.

    Towards this end, I think we have to make the right decision on
this for them (in other words, make sure that the standard is written
such that it becomes more difficult for them to accidentally shoot
themselves in the foot), and I think that this is it.
