    Since I'd originally posted my comments revising the position I'd
publicly taken at the workshop to the whole list a day or two after I
got back (and, as I recall, Raph publicly posted some of this own
comments), I figured that my further commentary on the initial draft
should also be public.

    I apologize if I've caused any confusion or overstepped any
bounds.
