The purpose of this message is to announce the formation of a mail list to 
discuss issues relating to MIME with MSP.

At the last IETF meeting there was a MIME with MSP BOF.  One of the outcomes 
of the meeting was that though a working group was not necessary, there was 
a desire to have a mailing list so interested parties could participate in 
the drafting of a "MIME with MSP" Informational RFC.  This RFC will replace 
the SDN.704 document currently being implemented by vendors.  Once there is 
a sufficient number of subscribers, there will be a message on when and 
where the next draft can be ftp'ed.

IMC graciously offered to host the list on their equipment (and I quickly 
accepted, thanks again).

To subcribe, send a message to "mime-msp-request@img.org" with the single 
word "subscribe" in the message.

Again, the purpose is to discuss the issues of carrying MSP in MIME 
messages.  I expect to have a discussion list for an MSP RFC (based on 
SDN.701 rev 4.0) in the not to distant future.
