    I saw that note when it was posted.  I'd intended to make
basically the same comment then as I did yesterday/last night/this
morning/whenever, and the real question in my mind is, what was
supposed to be happening behind the scenes (on other lists, between
the groups themselves, etc...), and who was responsible for making
sure that the schedule we set at the workshop actually got met?


    I didn't expect all that activity to take place on the main
mailing list, and even vaguely recall some activity right after the
workshop to the effect that separate lists were being set up to handle
this stuff, and perhaps that is precisely the problem -- out of sight,
out of mind.
